#WIMINTERN Task #2: How to spend the last year of Senior High School (Grade 12)?

Being the first batch of the Senior High School students, the program adds a bit of challenge before going to college. Senior High School can be costly (imagine paying two years of extra tuition) and also a difficult year to finish, but the rewards will be endless upon taking up college or even working in the career you chose.

Grade 12 will be generally a harder year than Grade 11 with its complex concepts and lessons to learn. In that level, students can also experience being in the real world with its immersion training, depending on the track they chose.

In this article, I will list down some tips on how to spend the very last year of your Senior High School life.

1. Study diligently.

Like what I have said, Grade 12 is generally harder than Grade 11. As a student, do your part in studying hard if you want to reach your dreams and goals in life. Do not put your future into waste. Your parents worked hard for you.

2. Maximize your time.

This is one of the most important, if you are dealing with too many projects and assignments. It can be hard to do, but please, do your part of being a wise person in maximizing your time upon doing the important things in school. Some students are still doing the mañaña habit as they do their works just a few days before deadlines.

3. Ask your teachers or your classmates for help.

If you find something that is not right or you do not understand, you must ask your teachers or your classmates to explain the said concepts until you understand them. Most teachers can help you for that. Also, if you have been absent for days, you are obliged to ask your teachers and classmates for missed works.

4. Do not be late and/or absent.

If it is due to valid reasons, it’s okay, but being late/absent due to invalid reasons are a no-no. Always remember that your school has ground rules in regards on the number of unexcused tardiness and absences. If you are a person with excessive invalid tardiness/absences, please, be present to your class. The school does not want you to be expelled.

5. Lastly, enjoy socializing with friends.

Your friends will be a key to good vibes that will cherish until the school year ends. When problems strike, friends will help you to solve them and when you need some help, a friend will take care of what you need. You need to choose the right friend or squad you want to join.

Picture yourself holding that diploma and wearing the toga once you graduated as a Grade 12 student. The things will be in your legacy as you passed the six years of High School life and the legacy will pass on one person to the another. Everyone will be proud for you, trust me.

I hope that incoming Grade 12 students will relate to this guide as we want all of us to graduate with flying colors.

Studies first before everything.

xoxo
