#WIMtern Task #3: The new kid in town: Ayala Malls Vertis North

Ayala Malls has opened their second mall in the Vertis North complex after Trinoma and the fourth Ayala Mall in QC last June 9, 2017, named as Ayala Malls Vertis North.

It has four retail clusters with three of them stacking a 22-storey BPO tower, interconnected by bridges. The retail clusters almost have the same layout so there is no problem to access the areas of the mall.

How to access Ayala Malls Vertis North?

  1. If you’re coming from Trinoma, use the footbridge from the Garden Restaurants at the 1st level, located nearby Asian Eye Institute and go down to the sidewalk. If you’re alighting from a jeepney, cross the pedestrian lane in the Trinoma driveway and turn right. These two options will reach Trinoma’s Mindanao Open Carpark.
  2. Once at the open carpark, follow the sidewalk to reach the mall and cross the street. The mall is just straight ahead from the Mindanao Open Carpark. Note that the sidewalk going to the mall looks unfinished as of this writing.
  3. Turn right to enter the main entrance, which is near the logo of H&M. You’ll be inspected upon entering the garden.

What’s inside Ayala Malls Vertis North?

The environs and the interiors are nice with some touches made by the Ayalas.

You can find some fashion and lifestyle shops like H&M, Uniqlo, Mango, Bench, Giordano, Retail Lab, The Penthouse, Anello and others. Most of the shops are located at the Ground and 2nd Floors.

At the first basement, there will be a Merkado Supermarket, Abenson and other stores. The area is currently closed for now with the exception of the carpark.

If food is your fave, there’s Crisostomo and Ciano serving Filipino cuisine, Ippudo for their #worldfamousramen, Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen for pizzas, pastas and other Italian treats, Scout’s Honor for pastries and desserts, WangFu for Chinese/Singaporean cuisine, LA’s Thai Original BBQ Restaurant for grilled eats and many more. For snacks, The Movie Snackbar for cinema treats, Turk’s for Shawarmas, Monster Milkshakes, Potato Corner + Nacho Bimby for fries and nachos, and Munchtown for hotdogs and side dishes are available.

Opening this year are the three dedicated zones in the mall called Urban Turf (2/F), Korea Town (2/F), and Japan Town (4/F).

The mall has three cinemas, with two cinemas under A-Luxe Seats (1 & 3). All of the cinemas have recliner seats that even allow you to charge your phones with its USB port! Cinema 2, on the other hand, is a large format theater under A-Giant Screen. It is one of the largest cinema installations in the country with 400 seats and 24 reclining seats in the skybox. How cool is that?

Best of all, the introductory price for the cinemas are only for PHP300, including the reclining seats! The promo is until June 30 only.

Other entertainment and lifestyle options include a Timezone arcade, UFC Gym, and Anytime Fitness.

There are also picture-perfect art installations in vacant spaces around the mall area.

The mall has four basement parking levels. Free parking is available until June 30.

As of now, the mall is currently in a soft opening phase as some tenants are undergoing construction. Expect something more in the next few months.

Tenants opened as of this writing:

Additional tenants that were opened last week from this writing include Shakey’s, Strokes Premier and Anytime Fitness.
